If taste can be enhanced by sight, we recommend our Lotus service. Made of porcelain, it is composed of five elements and stands out for its cracked patterns evoking lotus leaves' veins. These patterns are visible on the inner side of the bowls and plates and on the outisde of the tumbler, varying from bronze to blue shades for the first set, and turquoise green for the second one. They are obtained by applying lines of wax in resist, between the first and the second, darker layer of glaze. During the firing process, as the wax melts, the veins are revealed.
