At Pomax, we want to help people find more balance in their homes through our furniture and home decoration collections. Since balance is our main concern, we make sure to apply this philosophy in our daily work with our employees.

We understand the importance of a good work-life balance, which is why we give all our employees the opportunity to work from home and on flexible hours.

Engagement is central to our HR approach. We communicate as much as possible about, for example, our new collections and our business figures. Sharing the results of our joint efforts motivates the whole team.

Many managers underestimate their influence on employee behaviour. This also applies to learning. Stimulate your employees by offering them as many options as possible, by welcoming their own initiatives with enthusiasm and by setting a good example yourself.


Every year, our employees have a cooperation interview in which we ask about their training needs. But we also detect as many learning needs as possible in between meetings: via the managers or during informal chats at the coffee machine. And of course employees can come to me with their training questions.

In order to create the best possible working environment for our employees, we pay a lot of attention to "Workable Work" projects.

These are just a few of the subjects on which we, together with our colleagues, are constantly looking for ways to improve.

We also implement teleworking and in order to do this as efficiently and constructively as possible, we provide the necessary training for employees and managers.
