Paper & natural fibers

Paper, rattan, seagrass and other natural fibres bring a sense of warmth, lightness and authenticity to interiors. Their organic textures, natural colour nuances and artisanal character give every design a unique look. The beauty of these materials lies precisely in their natural imperfections. Variations in colour, texture and shape are inherent to the fibres and make every piece special. With gentle care and protection against damp, heat and prolonged direct sunlight, they will retain their beauty over time.

Discover the specific care instructions for each material to ensure proper maintenance.

Papier-mâché

Papier-mâché is a lightweight and characterful material with a tactile, artisanal appearance. The organic shapes, visible textures, and subtle irregularities give each decorative object a unique, handmade character.

Variations in colour, shape, texture, and finish are characteristic of papier-mâché and form part of the product’s authentic appearance.

Care

To preserve the appearance of your papier-mâché decoration for as long as possible:

  • Carefully remove dust with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush.
  • Avoid contact with water and do not clean the surface with a wet cloth.
  • Do not use harsh, chemical, or abrasive cleaning products.
  • Protect the object from moisture and do not place it in damp rooms.
  • Remove spilled liquids immediately by gently dabbing with a dry, absorbent cloth.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and strong heat sources.
  • Handle the object with care and avoid impacts, dropping, or applying pressure to fragile parts.
  • Plates and bowls are for decorative purposes only and are not suitable for serving or storing food.
  • Vases are not watertight and are suitable only for dried flowers or decorative branches.
  • Suitable for indoor use only, unless otherwise indicated.
Seagrass

Seagrass is a natural plant fiber with a warm colour and a distinctive woven texture. Its natural appearance and artisanal craftsmanship give each basket an authentic and unique character.

Variations in colour, fiber thickness, weave, and shape are inherent to the natural material and make each piece unique. Slight changes in colour or shape may develop over time and are part of the character of seagrass.

Care

To preserve the natural appearance of your seagrass basket for as long as possible:

  • Remove dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush.
  • If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and then allow the basket to air-dry completely.
  • Avoid excessive use of water and prolonged exposure to moisture.
  • Do not use harsh, chemical, or abrasive cleaning products.
  • Remove spilled liquids immediately by gently blotting with a dry, absorbent cloth.
  • Protect from prolonged direct sunlight to limit discoloration and drying out.
  • Avoid placing it close to strong heat sources.
  • Do not pull or cut protruding fibers, as this may damage the weave.
  • Store the basket in a dry, well-ventilated place.
  • Suitable for indoor use only, unless otherwise indicated.
