Delphine is a ceramic designer from Ghent. In her studio, tucked away in the enchanting countryside of Puglia, Italy, she brings her love of ceramics to life in every piece. She moved south to escape the hectic pace of the art world and chose a slower way of life, shaped by tranquillity, meaning and time. Time to reflect, to create and to let things evolve naturally.

Wakati takes its name from the word for ‘time’ — not just as something that passes, but as something you can give. This ceramics collection invites you to slow down and rediscover the beauty of small moments. Imperfections are embraced, whilst the soft pastel shades reflect the light of Puglia. Each piece reflects the fluid movement of hand-applied glazes, with subtle textures and undulating layers capturing the tranquil beauty of the passing of time.
